Black Suit of Death #2 gets Kickstarter campaign
In the process of writing the Black Suit of Death (BSD) #1, Co-authors Benjamin Kreger and Ed Ellsworth found that there were really 2 stories to be told, or maybe 1 story with 2 halves. Splitting the story allowed it to become more detailed, and it allowed the creators to save money on printing costs for the first installation of the series while still being able to incorporate the Li’l BSD comic. Kreger and his team will be running a Kickstarter for BSD #2 starting on June 6, 2017.
“They say ‘write what you know;’ we do that a lot,” says Kreger. “We’re character based writers. That’s our goal.” The BSD series contains some very personal things written from the experience of the authors. Kreger knows he couldn’t do the work alone. “We have a phenomenal team,” says Kreger. “It’s good because of everybody’s contributions.” Backers for the next installation of BSD series will be able to become a part of the story. BSD #2 has 16 slots available for the likenesses of those who have supported the story through Kickstarter to be victims of the Black Suit of Death. Kreger says that it’s like “a love letter to our backers” to "give them an opportunity to be in the book themselves." More about Benjamin Kreger:
