Minnie and Friends Character Breakfast 2016
The most awesome breakfast ever
Every time I go to Disneyland, I have a character breakfast. While the food is always good, with omelets made to order, fresh fruits and pastries and a variety of other breakfast items, the draw here is getting to meet the characters themselves. There are several options at the Disneyland Resort for a character meal: Ariel’s at California Adventure and Goofy’s Kitchen are just a couple of the others, but Minnie and Friends is the only character breakfast in the park. That makes it the classic.
When I told my family that my wife and I were going to Disneyland for our honeymoon, the immediate response was “Of course you are.” Only a little after that, my sister wanted to make sure that we booked our table at the Plaza Inn so that my wife could get the “full Disney experience.” She was concerned that with a tight budget we may forgo the relatively expensive meal. If it were just about the meal, we may have.
However, the character breakfast is really about meeting the characters. They come to every table, they include everyone in the meet ‘n’ greet, they sign autographs and they create an interaction that you can’t get anywhere else. I was concerned that my wife would find it corny; instead, she said, “That was the most awesome breakfast ever.” And so it is.
