Get History and entertainment at Malta 5D
Honestly, I was expecting something totally cheesy. After all, when a movie theater has to claim a gimmick beyond 4D, what should people expect? The Malta 5D theater experience is no real tourist trap. Instead, it is a well thought out presentation of Malta’s history that only indulges in a little cheese.
The storyline features a little girl who is transformed into a falcon that flies through time and space. (That’s the cheesy part.) The recreations are made from graphics that look like video games, but the personality that Jean de Vallette shows engenders a certain charm that having an actor would have missed. With the falcon as its thread, the movie carries viewers through a comprehensive overview that will help them get more out of their Malta experience. The chairs have an amazing range of motion, and the photography is impressive.
With free soda and a baseline of information about the country, Malta 5D is a worthwhile destination for those new to the Maltese Islands. The “Be a Knight” photo op is also pretty cool. Be sure to bring a mini-card for everyone in the group to get a little discount. The foyer also has some interesting exhibits.
