Vic Mignogna shares his voice

Victor Joseph Mignogna, who goes by “Vic,” involves himself in multiple aspects of entertainment. He is a musician, sound producer, video producer, and an American voice actor who is best known for his part as Edward Elric in the anime Fullmetal Alchemist, for which he won the Best Actor Award at the American Anime Awards in 2007. Other characters he has voiced include Ikkaku Madarame in Bleach, Zero and Ichiru Kiryu in Vampire Knight, Tamaki Suoh in Ouran High School Host Club, Dark Mousy in D.N.Angel, and Fai D. Flowright in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. In more recent years, he played parts such as Nagato, Obito Uchiha, and Fuen in Naruto Shippuden, Spirit Albarn in Soul Eater, and Yoshimori Sumimura in Kekkaishi. Mignogna (pronounced "Min-yah-nah") debuted at ADV Films where he played Vega in Street Fighter II V. Later on, he got the lead role in Generator Gawl. While attending anime conventions, Mignogna met representatives from Funimation and got a role in Dragon Ball Z playing Broly. Besides voice acting, Mignogna creates music. Over the course of his career, he has produced hundreds of commercial jingles and has released numerous albums, including English covers of anime songs from shows like One Piece and DN Angel. He helped with some of the directing for the English version of the anime of Claymore, in which he also performed as Rigaldo. Furthermore, Mignogna directed and starred as Captain Kirk in the webisode series Star Trek Continues while working with the Starship Farragut production group. Another fan production he played a part in was Fullmetal Fantasy. Born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania on August 27, 1962, Mignogna is an only child. Mignogna will be appearing all three days at the Salt Lake Comic Con.
