Carthay Circle Restaurant gives 'dinner and a show' new meaning
The Carthay Circle Restaurant has become a must-dine for every trip to Disneyland that is more than one day. Not only does it offer some of the finest food in the parks, but it also offers a menu that comes with a World of Color FASTPASS. Set up your reservations early at (714) 781-3463, and you will have taken care of two items on your list.
Perhaps the best thing about the Carthay Circle Restaurant is that its menu is seasonal. This means that certain items are only available when it makes sense from a growing season perspective. The food and atmosphere are upscale without being exclusive, and only the price and reputation keep the restaurant from being overrun.
However, for $39 per person, you get a three course meal that includes a drink. While that is more than a $10 hamburger, the food is certainly worth it. The seasonal soup or salad starts off the meal, followed by a main course and then the most important part of the meal is served – the dessert, which features full flavors rather than sugared out tastes for the masses.
The World of Color FASTPASS puts restaurant guests front and center for the show. It is still a good idea to show up about 30 to 45 minutes early, especially if you are short and want the best seats in the viewing area. Those seats happen to be at the far left of the reserved area on the top of the stairs for those who are a bit shorter.
