Disney Visa Meet and Greet, exclusive character experience at Disney California Adventure
Disney Visa card holders have a special Meet and Greet experience of their own that they can take advantage of in Disney California Adventure. At the back of Hollywood Land past the Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue and just before the giant Mad T Party tea pot, those who have a Disney Visa can meet one of two characters.
The steps are quite simple:
Lining up should be self-explanatory, especially for anyone who has ever visited a Disney Park. If you have read this far, you have also realized that you need to have a Disney Visa in order to take advantage of this special offer. (No other Visa will work.) There are some other rules that may not be so obvious.
The Voucher
The voucher is good only on the day that it is issued. Each account only gets one voucher. If you have multiple cards, but they are all the same number, you will only get one voucher. The voucher is only redeemable at the Kingswell Camera Shop on Buena Vista Street.
The Characters
Generally, there are only two characters per day, and only one at a time. It is supposed to be a surprise, and because characters change every 30 minutes, even though one may be available for one person, a change could get the next person in line a different character entirely. Daisy, Stitch and Minnie have all been spotted recently.
All of this information is subject to change, and the Disney Visa has several other worthwhile awards like discounts on merchandise and Disney dollars. However, those who are first time users of the card’s Disneyland benefits often find the Character Meet and Greet a little confusing. Hopefully, this clears it up.
